Bold Bluefly, Inc ad uses naked models in everyday settings

Bluefly, Inc today released some bold ads as you can see.
One of our readers of this blog let me know where to download these ads. I would like to also thank http://flypaper.bluefly.com

Bluefly in their pr asks the question:

The fact that these women go unnoticed provokes the questions; Has society become immune to nudity? Would a woman rather go undressed than poorly dressed?

I would ask the question "is society maturing and starting to accept nudity. Would a woman rather go undressed instead of uncomfortably dressed?"

Bluefly's pr tells exactly why nudism is becoming so popular. They write: "The clothing we choose to wear often defines who we are, or who we aspire to be." In our work-a-day world so many people are hung up on labels and trying to impress people. We don't stop to take the time to really get to know each other as we are always trying to "score points." It is hard to make lasting friendships.

At nudist resorts, we are all wearing the same suit, our birthday suits. So you don't have to try to impress other people. You can relax and finally be yourself. Like the models in these ads appearing as calm as can be, even though they are nude, our guests tell us they have never been so comfortable and at eaze, then when they have been naked around other people at our resort. It just seems so natural to relax in the nude.

As the Bluefly pr says, "Without the ‘right’ clothes we experience an identity crisis." Well I say, without any clothes, you achieve a good dose of self esteem and satisfaction. We were featured in Marie Claire fashion magazine a few years ago, and the reporter, a certied clothes nut as she called herself, said that she never felt so free and relaxed as she did here at our resort going nude. She felt truly liberated from the constraints of having to make a fashion statement everywhere she went, for once in her life.

Now, I want to make it clear, I highly respect Bluefly. I think they are a very brave and innovative company. I tip my hat to them (one of the few things I wear besides my smile). I really enjoy these ads and I wish this brave company success. I wish more companies were as creative in their advertising as Bluefly.

We had a fashion shoot here for a shoe company a few years ago. The model was only wearing the shoes and nothing else. It really made the shoes stand out. It was shot by the famous celebrity photographer Danielle Levitt.

If Bluefly ever wants to use a nudist resort in one of their shoots (ie us, The Terra Cotta Inn). They could do a sort of reverse on this add, like "When nudists have to wear clothes, what do they wear when they go out- That's why I Bluefly." Give me a call at 800-786-6938.

Now if you want your best vacation ever, and don't want to worry about what clothes you wear, (think of all the money you will save on resort wear) give us a call at 800-786-6938. Visit our site at http://sunnyfun.com You will be glad that you did!

Bluefly Launches Risque New Advertising Campaign
Naked Dreams and Bared Emotions Inspire New Print Ads

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bluefly, Inc., the leading fashion and lifestyle e-commerce website, today debuted its new spring print ad campaign to appear in top national media markets around the country. Bluefly infuses bold imagery into each ad, depicting naked women going about their days as though nothing is unusual, as though they are not naked to the world -- bringing to life one of the more common dreams we all have: literally being exposed for all to see.

The fact that these women go unnoticed provokes the questions; Has society become immune to nudity? Would a woman rather go undressed than poorly dressed?

Bluefly realizes that fashion plays a key role in self-expression. The clothing we choose to wear often defines who we are, or who we aspire to be. Bluefly celebrates the importance of individuality and recognizes that these personal choices affect how people feel about themselves and how others perceive them. Without that crucial form of expression, people are simply naked.

...Melissa Payner, President and CEO of Bluefly, sums it up best when asked about the campaign “This campaign is not about nudity—it’s about feeling naked, which is very different. These days more than ever, what you wear is inextricably linked to who you are. Without the ‘right’ clothes we experience an identity crisis. So our tagline ‘That's Why I Bluefly’ is the perfect antidote for this condition.”

The Bluefly customer has a strong sense of style and seeks out the newest looks. The spring ad campaign embraces the state of nakedness because Bluefly recognizes that “naked” simply means a fresh slate, a new start. The ads invite the audience to distinguish what this means to them. Bluefly invites you to begin the exploration at www.bluefly.com

Hmm. You seem a bit naive. Do you think the photos weren't faked? These days people in ads are placed in all sorts of implausible situations.

I think nudism is just natural and I think it's horrible that its so frowned apoun, hidden, and outlawed in the majority of places.
I am always naked when I can be and when I can be is only when Im alone in my room. My family doesn't allow it in the rest of the house and the law doesn't allow it outside. I think it has nothing to do with sex, when nudists want to appear more sexual they change the way they are acting and you view them in a whole different way.
Imagine a Place like http://www.naturistspace.org where You can Get Away from it all. Relax and Unwind in a Serene Setting and Have Fun!
