A reason why not as many younger people vacation at nudist resorts and nude beaches

The nudist resort industry is concerned that younger people are not becoming members of nudist clubs like the baby boom generation did.

In the US, most nudist clubs, nudist parks, and nudist resorts charge annual membership fees to use their facilities. Our resort, The Terra Cotta Inn is one of the few that does not charge annual membership fees.

There are many reasons why younger people are not flocking to nudist resorts and nude beaches compared to previous generations. One of the reasons is cost. Generation X's are not doing as well financially as the baby boomers and older generation.

A new survey by the retiree-advocacy group AARP found that one-fourth of Generation Xers, those 28 to 39 years old, receive financial help from family and friends.

That is a lot of people in financial trouble. It also doesn't say how many are on government assistance, etc. If many Generation Xers are struggling financially, they certainly don't have to money to pay for annual nudist club memberships.

We have a day use fee. We do not require a membership. It is $25/couple on Monday thru Thursday and $30/couple on weekends. We include complimentary snacks with day use. It is from 10am-5pm. Many Gen Xer's stay with us for day use.
